Sushi Experience Built Over Decades
Sushi has been a central part of my life for nearly 30 years.
Long before I was building AI systems, websites, and infrastructure, I was developing the kind of discipline that only comes from working with sharp knives, fresh fish, exact timing, and high standards every day. That experience shaped how I work across everything I do now: with precision, consistency, and respect for craft.
I’ve worked in professional sushi environments where quality, speed, presentation, cleanliness, and teamwork all mattered at once. I understand the pressure of service, the importance of prep, the details of fish handling, and the rhythm of a kitchen that needs to deliver under real conditions.
For me, sushi has never just been food. It is structure, repetition, refinement, and attention to detail — the same mindset I now bring to systems, design, and technical work.
What I Bring
- Nearly 30 years of sushi and kitchen experience
- Strong knife skills and fish fabrication experience
- Deep respect for quality, consistency, and presentation
- Experience working under pressure in fast-paced service environments
- Understanding of Japanese-inspired culinary standards and workflow discipline
- A systems-minded approach to prep, organization, and execution
Why This Matters
My culinary background is not separate from my current work — it is part of the foundation for it.
Working as a sushi chef taught me how to:
- stay calm under pressure
- maintain standards without cutting corners
- build repeatable systems
- value preparation as much as performance
- respect both craft and customer experience
That perspective is one reason I care so much about hospitality, restaurant systems, branding, and digital tools that actually help food businesses operate more clearly.

A Natural Extension of Modelsushi
Modelsushi has always reflected more than one side of my work.
It brings together hospitality, design, systems thinking, and technical execution under one identity. My sushi background is part of that story. It is where discipline, presentation, timing, and consistency became second nature.
That same mindset now carries into my work with websites, AI systems, infrastructure, and creative technology.
Whether through food, design, or systems, I’ve always cared about building experiences that feel intentional, refined, and memorable.
Sushi was one of the first places I learned that lesson.
